Terms & Conditions

1. Payments and Refunds

1.1 All sales are final. Payments are non-refundable.

1.2 Any tips or service charges included in the total cannot be adjusted after payment.

1.3 Option 1 — Full Payment is required for all Platter To Go Orders, Plated Meals, Bereavement Full Catering Services, and the date applies to any Full Catering Service.

1.4 Option 2 — A 60% Deposit is available only for Full Catering Services. Remaining balance is due in full at least 72 hours prior to the event. If unpaid, Island Cuisine will only prepare food for the number of guests covered by the deposit.

2. Event Guarantees and Charges

2.1 Final guest count must be confirmed at the time of payment.

2.2 Island Cuisine is only required to serve the confirmed count; any overages will be charged to the client.

2.3 Tentative bookings will be held for 48 hours before being cancelled automatically.

3. Function Development and Quality Assurance

3.1 Any concerns or discrepancies must be reported within 30 minutes of the food arrival.

3.2 Reductions, reimbursements, or credits will be addressed within 14 calendar days of notification.

4. Food Safety and Storage

4.1 Clientele must be educated in advance. Island Cuisine is not responsible for any food-borne illness once food has been in the client's possession for greater than 2 hours.

4.2 Published protein is subject to the buffet designated and cannot be substituted.

4.3 Clients must provide extra paper goods and utensils for any surplus food not served to guests.

5. Contact and Service Refusal

5.1 Island Cuisine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone who is rude or aggressive with team and Island Cuisine Catering.

5.2 Island Cuisine has the full right to refuse service to any individual who is belligerent, abusive, non-cooperative, or unruly.

6. Additional Services and Charges

6.1 Any added services or accommodations outside this agreement must be paid immediately upon delivery.

6.2 Island Cuisine does not provide utensils aside from serving tools. Utensils and items must be returned to Island Cuisine within 5 business days or will be billed at full replacement cost.

7. Responsibility and Liability

7.1 Island Cuisine is not responsible for instruments, personal items, or equipment left behind by the client.

7.2 Service must begin on time. Overtime beyond the service contract will be charged.

8. Image Use Permission

8.1 Island Cuisine is authorized to use event images for marketing, media, catering, and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

9. Governing Law

9.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of Guam.
